The Digital Alberta Awards, now in its second year, is a program designed to recognize leaders in innovation, creativity and the evolving digital media sector in Alberta. This year we have introduced categories to include companies, individual entrepreneurs, student and education leaders, organizations in both the government and not for profit sector, and those whose industry sectors that may not traditionally be considered in the realm of ‘digital media’, but are pioneering and raising the bar as they converge with technology.
Alberta is on a global stage in many areas and we encourage companies in the following industries to submit nominations for this year’s Awards: Apps & Content, Gaming, Online Marketing & Advertising, Arts & Culture, GPS and Location Technologies, Film, SFX, & Motion Design, Interactive Entertainment, Mobile, Touchscreen & In-environment digital experiences, Social Media, Philanthropic innovators, E-Learning, Government 2.0, Education, CleanTech, Communications, E-Health, Animation and Visual Effects, Multi-media Design, Application Developers.
We are thrilled to recognize “Best in Breed” in innovation, creativity and leadership in Alberta based companies. The Awards are open for nomination beginning Thursday, April 12th and close Friday, May 11th. Finalists will be announced Thursday, May 24th.
